Work in Progress & Workflow w/ Martyn

Join us on Thursday, September 4th, for a special evening with Martyn – an internationally renowned artist with deep musical roots in Eindhoven.

Since the mid-90s, Martyn has been shaping the landscape of electronic music. An accom- plished producer with releases on labels such as Ninja Tune, Warp, Tectonic, and Ostgut Ton, he has held a residency at Panorama Bar and performed on stages and at festivals worldwide. In 2007, he co-founded the 3024 label with longtime collaborator Jeroen Erosie, and since 2020 he has been guiding a global community of producers through the 3024 Mentorship Program, helping them discover and develop their unique voice.

This session is for producers, DJs, and music lovers of all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you’re just starting or have years behind you, you’re welcome here.

The night will unfold in two parts:

1. Workflow and Creative Process – A brief introduction and discussion on how to generate ideas and create musical habits to keep your creativity flowing. We’ll talk about staying inspired, navigating creative ups and downs and having more control over your process..
   
2. Work in Progress – We’ll listen to submitted tracks on a club-ready system. Get direct feedback from Martyn and the group, ask technical questions about arrangement, sound design, mixdowns – whatever’s on your mind. The aim isn’t to “perfect” your track, but to help you get unstuck and take the next step in your creative process.
